Hello Fellow Missionaries!!!!UPDATE!!!!!
We stand amazed at the way the Lord continues to bless the effort for this coming trip...More people have been added to the group...PRAISE TeHE LORD!!! We were given the opportunity to talk about the trip at Chapel last Sunday, and we get to show the PPP next Sunday, another opportunity! GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!
We heard from our friends the Zambranos in Panama, and were told that the Military Ministry conference there last month, with the military police, opened the door for us to offer a program to the police members and spouses..Godly police/armed forces have a tremendous opportunity to posititvely impact the society for Christ. Please pray as details are still schetchy as to exacly what our emphasis should be in this first outreach.
Also, plans for the youth concert are progressing...Grupo Trigo is active in the community and they are gathering names of all the local Christian congregations to invite them to participate. Please pray for prepared hearts to hear a fresh word from God, and for the unchurched and unsaved to hear the GOOD NEWS!
The ladies have been busy doing funraising projects, and making mom's and kids' school bags, quilts, and letters are being sent to local hospitals to gather medical supplies.
If any of you has access to the administration of your local hospital, and would like to see if they would have something to donate, we have a letter you can personalize and send.
We have some ideas for the Women's day Retreats, and if you have any ideas for a short program or a craft you are willing to teach, or any gifts you want to share with the ladies, please let us know!!
Remember that as long as you are in Christ, you are competent to minister..If you think you have no gifts to offer, do not let it stop you...God is interested in your heart...If you are willing He will equip you for the work He prepared in advance for you to do.
Take hearts my friends, God's plans will succeed..You only have to look at all prophecy already fulfilled...
Come join His work in Panama...For King and kingdom!!!!

Letter of Request for Financial Support
Your Name and Address go here
”For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance
for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10
Sept. 22, 2010
Dear Family and Friends,
As you know, we have all been called to carry the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ here locally, and all around the world. Some of us participate in this missionary endeavor through prayers, other through going, and others by giving.
I am excited to tell you about this group going to Panama on a short-term mission’s trip on Feb 4-13, 2011. I would really like to go with this group, and this is the reason for my writing today.
This year, we are asked to raise $1,400 to cover missionary expense, plus ministry costs. We each will be doing our own fundraising in hope to find people willing to participate in with us in this project.
The missionary group I am going with is the Alpha & Omega Family Ministries. They are currently working under the umbrella of Global Projects, an international non-profit women’s ministry group from Detroit, Michigan.
The Alpha & Omega group have been going to Panama for the past six years, and once again, the opportunity has presented itself for them to go back. I am praying and hoping that I will be able to go with them.. This will be their fourth trip.
We will be working in conjunction with the Libertad en Cristo Mission in La Chorrera, Panama and here are the goals for this trip:
Medical Ministry – This is done through health fairs in four different locations within the city of La Chorrera. We also take much needed supplies to the local hospital and take donations to the Children’s ward and Maternity.
Women’s Ministry – This is done through individual counseling, teaching Bible classes, and leadership training to women through workshops, support and prayer groups.
VBS/Youth – There will be a VBS program for the younger children, and a Christian Music Concert for teens on our last Friday there.
Construction- A family of limited financial means in the church is given the opportunity to have the group build an addition to their home or help with a construction project.
Kitchen – This group will be in charge of planning, shopping for and preparing all the meals for the 20-25 missionaries who will be going.
If you believe that the Lord wants you participating with us in this ministry, we ask that you please pray for us. The life and ministry of this group depends on prayer. Prayer is the most important thing you can do for us at this point.
Then, if the Lord leads you to help us financially, you may send your donation using the enclosed form along with your check.
We will be intentional about the spiritual preparation required in anticipation of the labor ahead of us, and to be open to how the Lord will be using us and you, for the expansion of the Gospel in Panamá.
If the Lord leads you to contribute financially, please mail the SUPPORT RESPONSE FORM and your check to the address on the cards.
This card must accompany each donation so the unit receiving the funds will know who to credit the funds to. So, please make sure you write my name on the card each time you donate.
Again thank you for your help, and may the Lord richly bless you!!!
In Christ,
Your Name goes here

Needs for Panama
Items Needed for Panama
YOUR PRAYERS - As you know very well, the mission field is a spiritual battle and we need to be ready with the Lord's armor on, and continually be bathed in prayer...the life and ministry of this group depends on prayers. We seek the Lord's provision and direction in all aspects of this work. Our purpose is to glorify Him in all we do.
MEDICAL/SURGICAL SUPPLIES….Letters have been sent to four local hospitals in Columbus, asking for donations. If anyone thinks there is a possibility for his/her local hospital to donate, please let us know and we can send you the letter of request and all you have to do is to change the name and address of the hospital you are sending it too. We suggest you follow up your letter with a phone call within two weeks after your letter was mailed.
SCHOOL BAGS – We usually give these full of school supplies to children who come to VBS or to the health fairs, and to the children at the hospital. Skandia, our home church in Minnesota, has been making these for the past six years, and if you would like to help with these, we can post sewing instructions on the blog.
GIFT BAGS FOR MOMS: These are also bags made of fabric which are then filled with toiletries for the mom’s who stay with their sick children at the hospital. Many of them come from remote/poor communities in a rush with a very sick child. The bags have soap, shampoo, a comb/brush, toothbrush/toothpaste, deodorant, lotion, a roll of toilet paper, a wash cloth, a notebook/pen, a small Kleenex packs, hand wash (we purchase these locally). If you would like to make some of these bags, we can also post sewing instructions.
USED CLOTHING –We received a request for gently used clothes/shoes for children in all sizes to give to the children at the hospital.
BABY LAYETTES – A layette is a baby shirt with its matching receiving blanket. We take those to the maternity ward at the hospital. If you would like to make some, we can e-mail you the sewing directions. We also like to add a soap/lotion gift for the mom (most of these are purchased locally so we can save luggage space for medical supplies.
TRACTS – It is desirable for each gift to have an age appropriate tract. We will be in need of a lot of teenage tracts this year. Lord willing, we will be having our first Christian Concert and the target audience is the local youth. Grupo Trigo is the local Christian music band who will be in charge of the music, finding the speaker, visiting the churches, reserving the local music shell, all the connections for the sound system, and all furnishings.
CANDY/BALLOONS/ FACE PAINT - Our very own clown will be giving away candy and balloons during all VBS and health fair functions.
T-SHIRT LOGO CONTEST –The Alfa & Omega Family Ministries would like to have its’ own identifying t-shirts that all missionaries wear while traveling and to wear at the concert, or any other group activity. We can have these made for as low as $4.00/shirt in Panama. LOGO CONTEST begins today. Submission deadline is Jan. 15. Submit your entry by e-mail (Adobe document) to norkli55@yahoo.com
FINANCES - The FAITH BUDGET for this trip is $30,000. It looks like a big number, but folks, God has large size plans, and we need to trust Him to provide for all our needs...He owns the resources, we just have to ask Him in faith to provide according to His will and plan for Panama.
SEWING DAY –EACH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON(12:00 – 5:00 pm) is sewing day at the Klingler’s home. If you would like to join us, please come with your own scissors (if you so desire), and a half yard of fabric (any cotton blend will do).

SEWING DAY –EACH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON(12:00 – 5:00 pm) is sewing day at the Klingler’s home. If you would like to join us, please come with your own scissors (if you so desire), and a half yard of fabric (any cotton blend will do).
Praise the Lord, Richard is home!!!
Dear Friends,
In case you do not know it by now, Richard arrived on Monday morningsafe and sound, praise the LORD!!!!
We are presently at Fort Stewart where Richard is supposed to do his "reintegration"...and we are not sure how long we have to be here, but our understanding is that it takes a bout a week. So I get to stay here too!!!
I have some news for you in regards to our application with EFCA.
A while back we were told, by error, that EFCA could be our sending organization. We felt EFCA would be the place to start because of our connection through the church. Since then, found, that EFCA still has no plans for Panama. We were told yesterday that "Panama is not a part of their strategy for Latin America," and advised to go through EFCCA (Evangelical Free Church fo Canada). They are currently in Panama working with the Chinese community.
We had some past correspondence with them in the past, and somehow, we did not feel they were a good match for us, not at this point in the process. Perhaps later when and if a school starts we can work with them. We need hands on help with organizing the medical/women part of the ministry as we begin.
We have the proven and wonderful support of Global Projects for the Women's Conference last July, and again, we are so thankful for their help with this mission trip...We look forward to a long -term relationship with them as they have similar goals to us also.
We had previous correspondence with Frontine Missions (Marcia's brother, Harry belongs to this organization) and we will check and see if they still can use us...Their mission goals are similar to ours.
We are told that the vision we have for Panama will require work with various organizations. So, we ask that you please pray for us in all these things. We want to follow God's plan for us or nothing at all.
We do not want to get ahead of Him, and we certainly seek to glorify Him though all this work, and, sometimes we ask the Lord, "Please clarify things for us for we are dumb and ignorant about these things!!!
We have e-mailed schedules of work per team...Please look and make suggestions...We need your input.
We love you, and we are so thankful for your desire to serve the Lord with us in Panama!!

Hello Fellow Missionaries!!!!
We are going to Panamá to glorify God through acts of kindness....Let us begin
I can't begin to tell you what an exciting day this is for me....! In less than 12 hrs my Beloved hubby will be home from Iraq!! Praise the gracious name or God for allowing him home sooner than anticipated!!!
Also, I am excited to finally get to update this blog for you all, so that we can get some important things posted for you...I am hoping you will visit it from time to time to look for new things...You'll never know what will be next, but it will surely be something to get you ready for the mission trip.
We are hoping this will be the best trip yet!!!
We learned much from some of the experiences from our previous trip....we hope we have learned from them and that we now know better what works and what does not work.
As you all know, these mission trips are helping Richard and I learn how to run a mission once we get to stay in the field and do it DAILY for the rest of the time until the Lord says, enough!
For this year's trip, the music band is working to get the all the concert details together ...Friday , Feb 12 is the night the concert has been scheduled, and we need to pray for all those playing in the band, the speaker, and for all the kids who will come, for the Lord to show Himself to them in a mighty way, and that many will come to accept him as their Lord and Savior.
In the next few days, please look for the Daily Schedules...We have made schedules per team..we think this will be easier for each team to know times and activities specific for their team.
These schedules are not etched in stone..We need your input...we think that it is a very good idea to get your thoughts into it...many heads think better than two..
Remember the application DEADLINE and half of the donation is due NOVEMBER 15... That's TWO MONTHS AWAY...
THINGS TO PRAY ABOUT:
Rebecca Porter - Missionary with Open Heart Ministry, hoping to go to Panama...I think that if she had the funds she would probably go with us as we hoped... It would a tremendous blessing to have her join the team even if for a few days.
All Missionaries - For all who have expressed a desire to go, and who are preparing...that the Lord would open all doors for them to be able to go, and for good health.
Finances - All of us are raising funds, and we also have a challenge to raise a larger amount this time, to be able to achieve all our mission goals.
Wisdom - for Richard and I as we lead the group. We are nothing without the Lord's guidance.

Calling all missionaries!!!
Dear Friends,
Here we are planning the next mission trip to Panama, and we would like to use this blog to post important issues, notices, and training relating to the trip.
The trip dates are Feb 4-13, 2011...Ministry will take place in a two cities in Panama. It will require us to travel close to 90 miles west of Panama City to a very rural community in Chepo, Chitre... We will be there for three days. We will then travel back to La Chorrera for two days. Details of the activities planned and schedules are being posted on Facebook notes.
We are so excited about what the Lord has to show us in Chepo and in La Chorrera this time, and we hope you will be as excited to come with us!!!
Please check this blog from time to time for that latest!!
Marching on for King and kingdom,
